Trades Description Act 1968

Conduct

You agree to use Art Matters for lawful purposes only. You may not use, or allow others to use, Your Art Matters membership to:

Payment

We reserve the right to impose an administration charge (no greater than that imposed upon ourselves) for the processing of credit/debit card transactions. If payment by cheque is not honoured, an administration charge may be applied.

Termination

Your membership or Your advertisement may be terminated at any time under any of the following circumstances

By You contacting Us to confirm that You no longer wish to continue membership or advertise on This Website;

By You not paying any fees due by the due date;

By You violating any or all of the Terms and Conditions contained within these Terms and Conditions.

In all such instances, membership or the display of Your advertisement will cease immediately. No refund either partial or full will be made by Us to You for any remaining period of membership or advertisement period.

General Information

If any provision in this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales as if the Agreement was a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed within England.

Privacy Policy

Art Matters will never release your personal details to any third party for mailing or marketing purposes. However, with your consent, We will send you a newsletter with details of products and services including catalogues, offers, promotions and invitations to special events offered by Us and carefully selected partners. If you wish to receive this newsletter, then please enter your email address on the 'subscribe Newsletter' page. You always have the option of opting in or out of receiving the newsletter by going to that page and filling in the appropriate boxes..

Your email address will remain hidden from advertisers. However,should you reply to any advertiser contained in our email newsletter, you are then supplying that advertiser with your email address and We then absolve Ourselves of liability from subsequent use or misuse of any information supplied by you to the Advertiser or vice versa and cannot be held responsible for any consequences. You will indemnify Us (as stated in these Terms and Conditions) against any action or consequence arising as a reult of the correspondence.

We take all reasonable endeavours to secure the privacy of its database. Ultimately, however, no system can ever be fully secure and there will always be a risk of compromise of the information contained, despite our efforts. If you find this unacceptable then do not submit your personal information to this Web Site.
